On-Line Nutrition Care in Residential Setting 

Online interactive resource that enhances your knowledge and skills as CDM to be an integral member of a healthcare team in a residential care setting.  An overview of key elements of Medicare requirements provides essential background for you to understand how you can best support nutrition care.  Simulations with one resident, Bertha, include activities during the admissions process and throughout her stay that provide you with the opportunity to practice providing key input and making decisions about how to  implement the recommendations from the dietitian.  Interactive features include video responses from Bertha, electronic health records, and photos of trays for evaluation of consumption.  The Module is subdivided into smaller sections where CEU certificates are provided when the quiz is successfully completed. The quiz is based primarily on your activities that were completed. In addition, when the entire module is completed, a certificate suitable for framing will be provided that documents your successful completion of the module.
